You can use this free standing or with a pole through a table. It is ok to use sand and water but we recomment water for this base.
  • Adjustable Base Tube with Hand Tightening Knob: The heavy duty steel base tube is the part that holds your umbrella in place. This adjustable base tube will hold an umbrella pole between 1.5" - 2" diameter. The hand tightening knob offers a secure grip for tightening the position of the umbrella pole. Turn it one way to tighten into place and the opposite way to loosen it.
  • Easy to Clean and Assemble: Hose down or wipe with a cloth when needed. This base is low maintenance. Assembly is easy with no tools needed.
